- As kids grow, their bodies and needs change. Our pediatricians can help your adolescent navigate this challenging period to establish good mental and physical health habits to last a lifetime.
Exámenes Físicos Deportivos
- Los exámenes físicos para deportes generalmente son parte del registro de jóvenes para participar en un deporte. Los organizadores generalmente requieren una evaluación para que los niños participen, con regulaciones que varían según las reglas del estado respectivo, la escuela o el organismo rector de un deporte. Chronic Illness
- If your child has a chronic condition such as cystic fibrosis, diabetes, congenital heart disease, asthma or a gastrointestinal condition, do not worry. We can coordinate their care with pediatric subspecialists, explain and discuss all diagnostic reports and doctors’ notes, and work with you to tailor a health plan that is appropriate and workable for the entire family.
Reproductive Health Care
- We can help with a variety of reproductive health issues, including contraception. Our clinic has experience communicating about these important topics for this age group, including body-image issues, substance abuse and good hygiene.
Vaccines for Children
- We are currently waiting for our acceptance to the VFC Program. We have been diligently working on this !
- The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program helps provide vaccines to children whose parents or guardians may not be able to afford them. This helps ensure that all children have a better chance of getting their recommended vaccinations on schedule. Vaccines available through the VFC Program are those recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). These vaccines protect babies, young children, and adolescents from 16 diseases.
